Seeing Beyond Limitations
With Zora NatanblutHi I am Zora Natanblut RPT, a retired Physical Therapist, Craniosacral Therapist and Alexander Technique Teacher. I enjoyed my working days and now I am enjoying my retirement.
I am married 56 years to my teenage sweetheart. We have three children and six grandchildren. We spend our summers in Pennsylvania and our winters in Florida. We are living in our northern home over 51 years. In Florida we enjoy life in and active retirement community. Thus we live where the weather is always Spring and Summer. I am able to swim most days. To me swimming is exercise, meditation and relaxation. I also exercise by riding my adult tricycle.
As a retirement project last year I started writing my Memoir. It is titled; Who is Zora Sight Unseen? It tells of my life long struggle to see and to be seen. For some unknown reason I was born legally blind. This is not a medical condition because it can't be corrected. It is a fact of my life. It is probably the reason I became a physical therapist.
One of the themes of my book is to:
“Dis” the “Dis” in Disability.
See a person for what they can do, “their ability.”
If you look, what you see might often surprise you.
